SeaTown Sammies started out as an idea on a napkin. To be fair, at the time the napkin was covered with sauce from a delicious Reuben that I was enjoying. My point is, a great idea was born.
They say you should “write about what you know”. I’ve had an unabiding love for sandwiches ever since I was little, sitting at my Grandma Pearl’s kitchen table, eating peanut butter and homemade raspberry jam on fresh-baked bread.
After a lifetime of enjoying sandwiches, I’d like to think I know a little something about the topic. I find their endless combinations of bread, veggies, cheese, meat, condiments and sauces fascinating. A good sandwich never fails to lift my spirits and make me smile. Don’t even get me started on the pickles.
With this blog, I now have the opportunity to make you smile, or at least provide you with the sandwich intelligence you require to truly enjoy a ham on rye in the Emerald City. I very much welcome your tips, suggestions, and feedback.
